The McLaren House B&B has three unique guestrooms, all located on the second floor of the house.  Each room has its own unique ambiance, and all have large luxury beds and linens, flat screen TVs with streaming and private sitting areas.  Wi-Fi is available throughout the B&B. All of our rates include a gourmet breakfast served daily at 8:30am, homemade snacks, 24 hour coffee bar lounge with complimentary beverages. 

THE CHIPPEWA ROOM
Monday-Thursday $175 per night
Friday-Sunday $200 per night-double occupancy

Enjoy a memorable night in our largest room.  As you enter the room, your eye is drawn to the tall trio of bay windows that overlook the city.  The room is decorated in rich blue and cream colors.  Original hardwood floors throughout.   The Chippewa provides a private attached bathroom with walk-in tiled shower. Get a good night’s rest on the King Memory foam bed, Egyptian Cotton Sheets and Organic Cotton Comforter.  Relax and watch a movie on the flat screen TV, enjoy a book or sip your coffee in the large, oversized chair.  A table and two chairs are provided for you to relax and have a glass of wine or conversation.  It would be the perfect place to write or work in a quiet environment. All of our rates include a gourmet breakfast served daily at 8:30am, homemade snacks, 24 hour coffee bar lounge with complimentary beverages.

THE FAIRVIEW ROOM
Monday- Thursday $150 per night
Friday-Sunday $175 per night-double occupancy

Nestled in the front corner of the house, the room has four large windows adorned with the original shutters.  The room is decorated in elegant white and calming grays. Enjoy historic pictures of the Northern Wisconsin State Fair and Views of the other historic homes in the neighborhood. This room is greeted each morning by the gorgeous sunrise. If you are a morning person, this is the room for you!  This room has a “split-king icomfort” memory foam adjustable bed with Egyptian cotton sheets with soft pillows and comforter. A large, shared bathroom is located down the hall.  The “spa-like” bathroom has an oversized claw foot tub and a tiled walk-in shower.  Luxury Spa Robes provided for each guest. The room includes a flat screen TV with streaming services.  A table and two chairs are provided for your convenience. All of our rates include a gourmet breakfast served daily at 8:30am, homemade snacks, 24 hour coffee bar lounge with complimentary beverages.

THE LUMBERMAN’S ROOM
Monday-Thursday $175 per night
Friday-Sunday $200 per night-double occupancy

Named after Alex McLaren’s profession, The Lumberman’s has a more masculine feel. Decorated in warm greens and caramel colors, along with historic “logger” photos throughout the room.  Get a good night’s rest on the tall, pillow-top, Four-Post Queen bed, along with a down linen comforter and comfortable pillows.  A flat screen TV is provided with streaming services, as well as a table and two chairs.  This room has a private attached bath with tiled walk-in shower.

EXTENDED STAY GUESTS: 

The McLaren House offers guests who are staying in the area for a longer period of time, or business travelers, traveling nurses and other professionals an extended stay rate.  Please inquire with the innkeeper for current rate.

GIRLFRIENDS WEEKEND GETAWAY:  Get your girlfriends together and consider booking the entire inn ~ 3 guestrooms~ 6 girlfriends.  You will have the use of all of the “common areas” to yourselves and hang out!   What’s included: Welcome reception, including snacks and beverages, and a welcome bag with gourmet chocolates in your room, (You can’t have a girl’s weekend away without chocolate!)  music, games, magazines, “chick-flick” movies on the large 86” TV with complimentary popcorn provided. Rate is $100 per person per night, based on double occupancy.  Please inquire with the innkeeper to book your stay!
